This song took so long. The additional recording had too much bleed between the guitar and drums, which were recorded at the same time in an enclosed bedroom. After hearing it, we originally were going to scrap it. However, the night before the final mix down, I (Anton) had an idea to use the original drum track (along with its bled guitar) to re-record a very light guitar along with a bass track to ground the song. Unfortunately this meant that the original shared vocals between myself and Sean had to be cut and both parts were done by myself. Also the final jam, which displayed such an increase in the volume of the drum track, needed a different guitar tone than the electric tone which became so saturated when the drums (and their bleed) kicked in. Therefore the final jam was redone with an acoustic to keep the big feeling while also maintaining a more level volume.
